HF pallerizer

In HF (high feeder) palletizers, preferred for higher capacity productions, the bags oriented by the turning device enter aligned, then pushed forward on the layer pre-forming unit. Once the layers have been formed, the group lifts up to the pre-set discharge level, afterwards the layer is side pressed then discharged. Once closed, the layer stripping plate performs a layer flattening of the just discharged bags layer: this operation repeats cyclically until reached the pre-set pallet layers. All main movements are driven by frequency converter in order to reduce mechanical and maintenance stress to the minimum, increasing production and performance speed. The layer discharge stripping plate is counter-balanced.

Safety and control systems:

The whole machine is protected by safety fences and access doors are secured by safety micro-switch. A barrier with photocells protects the full pallets outlet. Various emergency push button are located around the machine. The PLC monitors the whole machine cycle and stops in case of anomalies. The Operator panel allows to input palletizer parameters and gives instructions to troubleshooting the causes of the failure and to reset the functioning. Bags and pallets counters can be managed by the operator panel, too.

Parameters:

The following parameters can be set or changed. These parameters are protected with three different password levels (operator, supervisor and Tallservice):

• Number of pallets to produce
• Palletizing pattern (number of bags/rows)
• Number of rows
• Bag rotation type 90° – 180° – 270°
• Pause during alignment
• Variable pressing according to product type
• Option to press the top row
• Change the number of bags/rows

• 1900 bags/h – 5 bags/row
• 1600 bags/h – 5 bags/row
• 1400 bags/h – 4 bags/row
• 1300 bags/h – 3 bags/row
