Automated bagging and palletizing line for powder products

Tallpack Bulgaria presents an automated bag filling line for bags of 25 kg installed at the premises of  Neochim, Dimitrovgrad.

The bag filling machine has a system that forms the bag itself and has an integrated thermal transfer printer that places the product batch. The filling capacity is up to 800 bags per hour. Due to the specificity of the product - ammonium bicarbonate, the filling machine is equipped with a vacuum system that pulls the air out of the bag while sealing. The dosing system is round in cylindrical shape so that no product remains in the hopper and the possibility of contamination or mold is excluded. A built-in metal trap keeps metal, non-metal or steel particles out of the bag. All parts of the machine which are in contact with the product are made of stainless steel.

Once the dose is filled, the machine seals the bag and it is completely protected from leakage. The filling machine is also equipped with multi-level dust collectors connected to a dust collection system and filter installed by Tallpack at the customer's plant. These ensure that there is no unnecessary or harmful contamination in the bags. The full and sealed bags move along a conveyor belt to a positioning station passing through a check scale that monitors weight deviations. The bags are then picked up by an integrated robot. The same one grips and arranges the bags according to the set program, depending on the cut, the product and the logistic requirements. The operator can easily change the palletization (number of rows and row arrangement method) from the robot's operator panel.

The robot is equipped with a special press plate, which ensures uniform spreading of the product in the bag, therefore a better stability of all pallets.

The line is connected to a tele-service link which is available 24/7 from Tallpack's service department to monitor and, in case of a failure, the program can be remotely changed or a possible software error fixed. All these activities are controlled by one operator.
