Tallpack Bulgaria designed, delivered and installed a modern automated FFS (Form, Fill & Seal) line for filling 25-kg bags for its customer. Agropolychim is a leading producer of nitrogen fertilizers in Southeastern Europe and a leader in the production of phosphorus fertilizers on the Balkan Peninsula.
The company choses Tallpack as a partner in its strategic investment. With the newly built facility, Agropolychim increases the quality of packaging and expands the possibilities to reach international markets.
The new FFS system includes a COMPACTA EASY packaging machine, a palletizer with a dispenser for automatic feeding of empty pallets model LF 800 and a Power Flex T1 stretch hood machine. The technology forms, fills and seals the bags with UV-resistant tubular film and vacuum air extraction, which provides complete protection from moisture, contamination and mechanical impacts. The line is equipped with a leaky bag detector after filling. After preparation and vacuuming, the bag passes on a roller conveyor for shaping into its finished form. After this stage, a second detector for torn packages is available. A control scale measuring a deviation of 5 to 20 grams in weight guarantees unconditional accuracy of the quantity in each package. The bag is automatically removed from the line at any detected deviation. The finished product remains stable on long transport routes and retains its characteristics regardless of climatic conditions.
The technical characteristics of the new line include a capacity of 11–13 tons/hour, a total installed power of 81 kW and a compressed air consumption of 98 Nm³/h – parameters that allow reliable and rhythmic operation at high production loads.
Automated palletizing arranges the bags in a configuration of a total of 1200 kg and wraps them with protective outer packaging. Thus, the finished load is easy to handle in warehouses and commercial facilities, ensuring predictability and security during transportation and storage.
